Refraction on the Liffey

For this photo challenge, show us what “refraction” means to you. It could be an image taken in a reflective surface, it could be light bent from behind an object, or it could mean remedial math homework: the choice is completely up to you. I’m looking forward to seeing how you interpret “refraction.

It’s Friday, I’ve finished a hard week of work so there’s no way I’d interpret this challenge with maths like the author suggested above! Instead, I want to share two photos with you which capture my daily commute to and from my new workplace. Since I started working in the city centre I have the luxury of being able to walk to work within 20 minutes. My walk is along Dublin’s cute little river Liffey passing impressive buildings and crossing beautiful bridges.

Sunny days like these are rare and I just had to take shots of the beautiful reflections in the water.
